Friends, we had such a great response from the Our Flag Means Death mystery box we offered in 2022, that now that season 2 has rolled around, we're back to do it again! This series' mix of quirky & often-dark comedy, genuine romance, themes of collectivism, decolonization, queer theory and wholesome friendship - and of course, some swashbuckling adventure too! - have captured our hearts <3
This year the mysterious holiday known as Calypso's Birthday, observed by all good Calypsians such as yourself, just happens to coincide with the winter holiday season as well :) These boxes will ship in mid-December. All the more reason to celebrate!!
Kindly note that these items will include quotes from the show, which are likely to include swear words! Including F-bombs! This box is otherwise kid-friendly and we won’t blame you if you use a sharpie to black out some choice words, or pull a couple of the extra goodies, before handing off to younger folks ;)

What Colors & Scents to Expect
Polish colors in this mystery box will take inspiration from the color palette of the Calypso's Birthday party on the show. Think rich jewel tones and combinations of bold glowy colors. All colors will be exclusive and can't be ordered any other way. We will definitely include at least 1 thermal polish, 1 multichrome, 1 holo, & 1 matte. Other finishes or types that might be included are flakie, metallic, crelly, creme, shimmer, or glitter.
Scents will be on-theme fragrances that will focus on citrus, aquatics, woods, foody & earthy notes.
Note: If you have a serious allergy that could conceivably show up in a mystery box like this (scents or oils derived from chocolate or nuts, certain botanicals, etc) please check in with us before ordering. At the very least, we can let you know if this box is a good fit for you, but it's also possible we can modify your specific order to accommodate you.
